Reports to
Manager: Compliance
Summation
Working independently or in a team and on a regional basis, p
repare and conduct compliance monitoring and assurance activities as
per the approved Compliance
Plan:

Plan compliance assessments / audits

Execute the compliance assessments / audits

Present the findings to management and obtain management comments

Prepare a report and present the findings

Monitor the implementation of corrective activities by means
of follow up.
Render a regional advisory service in respect of operational compliance matters. Conduct training, coaching, guidance and
awareness sessions on compliance matters.

Give inputs into the development of policies and procedures / guidelines

Review documenta
tion for compliance adequacy and effectiveness

Conduct training / coaching / guidance and awareness sessions on compliance matters

Provide a regional advisory service regarding operational compliance matters

Requirements

Qualifications

Experience
and Knowledge
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Relevant Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 6) or equivalent, specifically in Law or Commerce

Approved F
AIS
Compliance Officer

At least 3
years
experience in audit, risk management or compliance
environment

Valid Code B Driving Licence
KNOWLEDGE

Operational knowledge of FIAS, FICA

Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Suite (E.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Ability to pass Regulatory Examinations as per FIAS
